Whether is it a Can-am, Yamaha, Polaris, Kawasaki, or CFMoto, we will work on all ATV or Side by Sides. We are a service shop for all makes & models of ATV or Side by Side out there. If you have a Enticer 250 snowmobile, a KTM Motorcycle, a John Deere ATV, a Honda Side by Side, Ford car and a GMC truck to pull it all, we will fix it!
All ATV and Side by Sides should be serviced at the intervals required by the manufactures (OEM) specifications.
Each service is a little different depending on the ATV or Side by Side/vehicle. Generally the oil & filter is changed. Grease all the fittings. Check, clean, or replaced air filters, as needed. Check over the ATV or Side by Side/vehicle. All services are done according to the OEM requirements at the proper service intervals.
It is important to have your Sled, ATV or Side by Side ready prior to riding it the first time each season. It is also very important to service your machine before storing at the end of the season. This would include changing the oil(s), making sure everything is well lubricated before storage as per your Snowmobile, ATV or Side by Sides owner's manual. You protect the bearings in your unit’s motor from harmful acidic components that are in the used oil by changing it regularly.
There are many different brands of oil out in the market these days, Amsoil, Ipone & Lucas just to name a few. But the best practice is to follow the OE Specifications for your ATV or Side by Side & then decide on the brand from there.
To rebuild a motor takes quality parts & skill. At Kalinowski Power we use quality pistons, gaskets & other parts to put your motor back together to OEM specifications. If you rebuild your own motor you know what you have. If you just install a used motor, who knows how well that Snowmobile or ATV motor has been maintained.
There are many products on the market. Nanotech ZOOM is a powerful dirt release agent which quickly loosens dirt, grime, mildew, weather streaks, algae, bird droppings, bug residue and other gunk from almost any outdoor surface. It will release dirt without the need for heavy scrubbing. All that is needed is a garden hose or power washer. If using a pressure washer always be careful. A pressure washer is so powerful it can removed stickers & even paint.
There are exceptions for the category of off-road vehicles known as all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). If you do drive an off-road vehicle on or across a public road, you must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid Ontario driver's licence (Class G2, M2 or higher). Check with your municipality to see if ATV/UTV are allowed on the roads in your area.

Helmets vary depending on the type of riding that you plan to do & the time of year.
For winter, the CKX Titan Helmet that came out in 2015 is one of the top of the line Snowcross style helmets. If snowmobile trail riding is more your speed, the GMAX & ZOAN full face with or without an electric visor is also a great choice. For the kids, there are lots of options with an open face or full face helmet.
Now for the summer months if you are more of an ATV'er or Motorcyclist, the Motocross style FLY or ZOX Helmet might be more your thing. Also, the open face or half (1/2) helmets are also very good choices.
There are lots of different clothing & apparel to keep warm in the winter months. CKX Gloves, Jethwear or Coldwave snow suit, Boots by NAT'S, a CKX Titan Helmet are a good start. What ever you decide you should wear layers that are breathable, flexible & repel water.
